Film — Promotional Travel Assistance ### 📋 Eligible Entities - Film producers based in or with productions registered in New Brunswick - Applicants must have an official invitation or selection confirmation for screening and/or competition - Eligible venues include festivals and competitions both within New Brunswick and internationally - Primary filmmaker/producer or authorized representative may apply on behalf of the production ### 💰 Funding Details - Maximum Grant Amount: $2,000 per application - Coverage Ratio: 50% of eligible travel expenses (applicant covers remaining 50%) - Repayability: Non-repayable grant (not a loan) - Matching Requirement: Applicant must fund or secure matching funds for the other 50% ### 🛠️ Approved Expenses - Airfare and transportation to/from the screening or competition venue - Accommodation during the event - Ground transportation at destination (taxi, rental car, public transit) - Meals and incidental travel costs directly related to attendance - Visa and travel documentation fees (where applicable) ### ⚠️ Conditions & Milestones - Official Invitation Required: Must provide proof of official invitation or selection confirmation from the festival/competition - Application Timing: Application should be submitted prior to travel - Documentation: Receipts and proof of attendance/screening may be required - Residency/Registration: Film production must have New Brunswick connection - Single Event: Funding typically applies to one promotional travel opportunity per application cycle - Reporting: May require confirmation of attendance and promotional outcomes
