📋 Eligible Entities - Canadian artists (individual practitioners) - Canadian artistic groups and collectives - Canadian arts organizations (non-profits, cultural institutions) - Professional performing arts companies - Visual arts organizations - Literary arts organizations - Dance, theatre, music, and multidisciplinary arts groups - Indigenous arts organizations - Must have a demonstrated track record of professional artistic activity ### 💰 Funding Details - Grant Amount: Up to $200,000 per project - Cost Coverage: Covers up to 50% of eligible project costs - Matching Requirement: Applicants must secure matching funds or in-kind contributions for the remaining 50% - Repayability: Non-repayable grant (no repayment obligation) - Currency: Canadian dollars ### 🛠️ Approved Expenses - International touring costs (transportation, logistics, venue rental) - Exhibition setup and installation expenses - Travel and accommodation for artists and technical staff - Marketing and promotion for international activities - Freight and shipping of artworks or equipment - Insurance for touring exhibitions - Technical production costs - Hospitality and artist fees during touring - Documentation and promotional materials for international audiences - Administrative costs directly related to the touring project (up to reasonable limits) ### ⚠️ Conditions & Milestones - Projects must demonstrate clear international touring or exhibition plans - Applicants must show how the project increases Canadian artist visibility abroad - Must submit detailed budget and touring schedule with confirmed or pending dates - Requires secured matching funds (minimum 50%) before final approval - Projects must take place primarily outside Canada - Reporting requirements on tour outcomes, audience reach, and media coverage - Grant funds must be used within the agreed project timeline - Preference given to projects with confirmed international partners or venues - Artistic quality and innovation are assessment criteria - Applicants must comply with all funding agreement terms and conditions
