📋 Eligible Entities - Community-based organizations and non-profits focused on workforce development - Training providers and employment services organizations - Organizations serving vulnerable or underrepresented populations in the labour market - Entities with demonstrated capacity to deliver employment support programs - Organizations must be registered and in good standing with relevant provincial/territorial authorities ### 💰 Funding Details - Maximum funding: Up to $11,000 per participant - Grant type: Non-repayable contribution (grant, not loan) - Funding structure: Direct support to cover participant-related costs - No matching requirement: Funds are provided to cover eligible expenses without mandatory cost-sharing - Budget flexibility: Allocation across eligible expense categories determined by organizational needs and participant requirements ### 🛠️ Approved Expenses - Professional/vocational training costs (tuition, course materials, certifications) - Employment support services (career counseling, job coaching, job search assistance) - Financial support for participants (living allowances, transportation, childcare during training) - Wage subsidies or income support during training periods - Assessment and skills evaluation services - Wraparound services to remove barriers to employment participation ### ⚠️ Conditions & Milestones - Funds must directly benefit eligible participants in workforce development programs - Organizations must track and report participant outcomes and program completion rates - Participants must meet eligibility criteria (typically unemployed, underemployed, or at-risk populations) - Program delivery must align with labour market needs and employment outcomes goals - Regular reporting and accountability requirements to funding body - Funds must be expended within specified program year or funding period - Organizations must maintain documentation of participant progress and service delivery
